Krista Burns

Born in Northridge, California, and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, Krista's lifelong passion for animals began early—working at a local pet store during high school, where she knew she wanted a career dedicated to animal care.

In 2011, Krista joined the Centennial Hills Animal Hospital team as a receptionist. Driven by a desire to constantly expand her knowledge and better serve the practice, her dedication and leadership saw her rise to the role of Office Manager in 2017.

Outside of the clinic, Krista's life is beautifully full. She is the proud mother of four children—Nina, Jeremiah, Mercedes, and Elijah—and the doting grandmother of Liam and Marcie. Her dedication to her family shines as her children take on big milestones, with two currently in college: one pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering at Montana State University, and another who recently graduated and is heading to the Aveda Institute in Denver, Colorado.

Krista shares her home with a lively menagerie of pets, including four dogs (Marshmello, Saturn, Perseus, and Baymax), three cats (Pig, George, and Eleven), and a bearded dragon named Vhagar. In her free time, she loves taking family trips, hosting competitive board game nights with her kids, and diving into her favorite fandoms, including Stranger Things, Game of Thrones, and Harry Potter.
