Myia Steimle

Myia Reanne Steimle is a cornerstone of the medical team at Centennial Hills Animal Hospital. A born-and-raised Las Vegas native, Myia's lifelong bond with animals inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine, culminating in her earning her Veterinary Nursing degree in 2022.

Having been an integral part of the Centennial Hills family for over five years, Myia has risen to become one of our top Licensed Veterinary Technicians. Her advanced skills and deep clinical knowledge are matched only by her versatility; on any given day, you can find Myia jumping in to assist wherever she is needed—whether she is managing complex cases in treatment, supporting the team in the kennel, or greeting clients with a smile at reception.

Myia is fully Fear Free Certified, meaning she is specially trained to recognize and alleviate pet anxiety, ensuring a calm and gentle experience for every patient in her care. Professionally, her core passions lie in senior pet care, emergency medicine, and anesthesia management. She treats every patient with the precision and vigilance of a top-tier nurse, making her exactly the person you want watching over your beloved pet during a medical procedure or critical moment.

“My absolute favorite part of the day is seeing a patient come back through our doors looking healthier, happier, and full of life,” Myia says. “Knowing we made a difference in that pet's life and brought peace of mind to their family is why I do this.”

Her dedication to helping animals even extends to her own household. Myia is the proud pet parent to Gustavo and Riverly (her two beloved cats) and Alfredo, a lovable Pitbull who serves as a heroic blood donor for our clinic, helping to save the lives of local pets in emergencies. Outside of her busy clinic life, Myia loves cooking, baking, and hanging out with her close friends. Most of all, she treasures spending quality time with her wonderful new baby boy. And while her work ethic at the hospital is unmatched, she jokingly admits that if she could be any animal, she'd be a sloth—just to enjoy a full day of uninterrupted sleeping!
